St. Jude Regional Catholic School, a Catholic parish-based school in the Archdiocese of Washington, serves students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 of all religious, racial, ethnic, and income backgrounds. St. Jude was established as a parish school in 1956 and was formally established as a regional school in 2010 in accordance with the Archdiocese of Washington’s Policies for Catholic Schools. Located in Rockville, MD, a suburb of the District of Columbia, it is recognized by the AdvancED Accreditation Commission and Board of Trustees of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. The school is sponsored by the Shrine of St. Jude and is supported by the parishes of St. Francis of Assisi (Derwood, MD), Our Lady Queen of the Americas (Washington, DC), Our Lady of Grace (Silver Spring, MD) and Saint Catherine Labouré Parish (Wheaton, MD).
