Haiti Committee
Through the generosity of parishioners, St. Francis parish has supported our sister parish, St. Paul in Leon, Haiti, in many ways. We have raised funds to build the first high school in the region. Each year, parishioners sponsor the poorest children in the area so they can attend elementary and high school. Several times during the year, we make medical mission trips to Haiti. The Haiti Committee oversees all of St. Francis’ activities in and for Haiti, and works to strengthen a sense of solidarity and community between the two parishes.

CRS Rice Bowl
Catholic Relief Services’ Rice Bowl is a Lenten program of prayer, fasting and almsgiving which enables parishioners to reach out to the poor and vulnerable overseas and at home. The donations add up in the parish and across the archdiocese and nation, enabling CRS to help meet many needs overseas and at home in our archdiocese.
